The growth of U18 Youth MMA heading into Jakarta, Indonesia.

The upcoming U18 Youth Mixed Martial Arts World Championship, scheduled for December 6th to the 10th, 2024, in Jakarta, Indonesia, marks a significant milestone in the evolution of youth MMA. Since its inception with the first international tournament held from November 3rd to 6th in Nashville, Tennessee, U18 youth mixed martial arts has made remarkable strides and is rapidly becoming one of the fastest-growing sports globally.

Following the Nashville event, GAMMA announced that the 2023 U18 World Championships would take place in Alexandroupolis, Greece, from September 27th to October 1st. This event will be particularly noteworthy as it represents the first GAMMA World U18 Championships after the successful debut of the International Tournament in the USA. Over 400 athletes aged between 8 and 17 are expected to compete across various weight categories, making this a pivotal moment for many young competitors as they embark on their MMA journeys.
